Jose Mourinho: 'I would love Eden Hazard at Manchester United'

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says that he "would love" to have Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard at Old Trafford.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has said that he "would love" to have Eden Hazard at Old Trafford, but has conceded that it would be impossible to sign the Chelsea attacker.

Hazard has been in fine form for Chelsea this term, managing eight goals and three assists in 10 appearances in all competitions, with seven of those strikes coming in the Premier League.

The Belgium international, who continues to be linked with Real Madrid, recently said that he wanted to work with Mourinho again having featured under the Portuguese at Chelsea.

Mourinho has said that he would love to have "the best player in the Premier League" at Old Trafford, although the Red Devils boss does not genuinely believe that the move could occur.

"I would love to have him in Manchester United but I don't think Chelsea will be selling to Manchester United so it's not a problem," Mourinho told reporters.

"History says that when Eden Hazard is the best player in the Premier League, Chelsea is the champion. It happened with me, it happened with Antonio [Conte]. Chelsea is top of the league now because he is the kind of player that can make a huge difference.

"Chelsea is led by experience and intelligent people in football. I think they would never sell Eden to Manchester United so it's not a problem."

United, who are already seven points off the top of the Premier League table, will visit Chelsea in the league on Saturday afternoon.
