Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi to listen to transfer offers

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi will listen to offers to leave the club this summer, according to his father Faria.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi is contemplating leaving the Parc des Princes, according to his father Faria.

With just 12 months remaining on his contract, Matuidi has been linked with a transfer to England with both Arsenal and Manchester United said to be keen.

It had initially been suggested that the French international would prefer to remain in Paris, but after the departure of Patrick Kluivert and Olivier Letang - PSG's director of football and sporting director respectively - it appears that a transfer remains a possibility.

He told Le Parisien: "A few weeks ago, Blaise was more interested in staying at PSG. Now the situation is much more mixed. PSG, and in particular their new sporting director [Antero Henrique], have been slow to reveal their intentions.

"For that reason we're listening attentively to the advances of other clubs."

The 30-year-old has scored 31 goals in 263 appearances for PSG in all competitions.
