Manchester United considering move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier?

Manchester United are reportedly considering whether to launch a bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier.

Manchester United have reportedly identified Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier as a potential summer signing.

While United have been linked with a wide range of attack-minded players, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also known to be keen to make changes at the opposite end of the pitch.

With Dier having less than 18 months remaining on his contract, the Daily Star claims that the England international has emerged as an attractive option.

The report claims that Solskjaer is a fan of the player's versatility, with the 26-year-old able to play in central defence or midfield.

Spurs are eager for Dier to extend his contract beyond the end of next season, although that appears unlikely due to his lack of game time.

Since the start of 2020, the majority of Dier's appearances have come in the FA Cup.
