Manchester United could boost their summer transfer budget with the sales of six first-team players, as the club's new minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe prepares to make his mark at the club.

The Red Devils are believed to want a centre-back, central midfielder and centre-forward this summer, while a new right-back and right-sided forward could also arrive depending on outgoings.

Man United could potentially raise £105m during the summer market if Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Antony all move on.

Maguire, who is valued at €20m (£17.1m) by Transfermarkt, was heavily linked with a move to West Ham United last summer, but he ultimately stayed at Old Trafford to fight for his spot.

The England international has made 24 appearances this season despite some injury problems, and he has seemingly regained the trust of head coach Erik ten Hag, but a summer transfer cannot be ruled out.

Lindelof - valued at €15m (£12.8m) - is in a similar position, with the Sweden international proving to be a regular this season, making 26 appearances, benefitting from the team's defensive injuries.

The 29-year-old is not regarded as first choice when Ten Hag has a full squad available, though, and his contract is up in June 2025, so a summer departure for the right price is possible.

Wan-Bissaka, who has a valuation of €20m (£17.1m), could also depart, with Crystal Palace thought to be interested in re-signing him at the end of the campaign.

The Englishman is firmly behind Diogo Dalot in the pecking order for the right-back spot, and he also only has a contract with the 20-time English champions until June 2025.

Casemiro's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with the 32-year-old potentially being moved on at the end of the campaign.

The Brazil captain impressed for Man United last season, but he has been restricted to just 21 appearances this term due to injuries, and he is again on the sidelines with a muscular issue.

A move to Saudi Arabia at the end of the campaign cannot be ruled out, and Transfermarkt have placed his valuation at €30m (£25.7m).

Eriksen - valued at €10m (£8.6m) - may also be moved on, with the Denmark international recently admitting that he is not happy with his playing time this season.

The 32-year-old is no longer first choice in the Red Devils midfield, and he will be eyeing regular football at this stage of his career, so a departure this summer is a strong possibility.

Antony is the sixth player on the list, with the Brazil international struggling to make his mark since arriving from Ajax in the summer of 2022; the 24-year-old, who is valued at €28m (£23.9m), could be made surplus to requirements this summer, and his exit would raise more valuable funds for the English giants. body check tags ::
