Manchester United players have reportedly been left 'bemused' with Donny van de Beek and Jesse Lingard's lack of game time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Van de Beek has only played six minutes of Premier League football and has reportedly sought the services of a new agent to help him secure a move elsewhere in the summer of 2022.

Meanwhile, Solskjaer affirmed in the summer that Lingard was a part of his plans for the new season, but the 28-year-old is also yet to start a top-flight game for the Red Devils this term.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Man United players are 'surprised' that Lingard is not getting more minutes, while Van de Beek is also impressing in training.

The report adds that Daniel James starting in the early-season matches before being sold to Leeds United also raised eyebrows within the squad, and United chiefs are now supposedly considering sacking Solskjaer.

Lingard has netted two goals off the bench against Newcastle United and West Ham United in the top flight this season but has been an unused substitute in three of his side's last four Premier League games. body check tags ::
