Manchester United 'identify four summer targets'

By , Senior Reporter | 4d
Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward reportedly identifies four transfer targets ahead of the summer window.

Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward has reportedly decided to commit to four high-profile signings during the summer transfer window.

United have endured another campaign where they have not challenged for the Premier League title, although there remains optimism that caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is bringing about a positive change at Old Trafford.

However, United were outclassed by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League earlier this week, further highlighting the need for fresh faces ahead of next season.

According to The Mirror, Woodward is ready to give the green light for four significant additions in the summer and it has already been established which players will be targeted.

The report suggests that Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly, Atletico Madrid's Lucas Hernandez, Fiorentina's Nikola Milenkovic and Juventus's Douglas Costa are currently regarded as ideal arrivals.

United are known to be in the market for new defenders, while the Premier League giants may opt to add another attacker to their ranks.
