Dean Henderson wants to stay with Sheffield United in Premier League

The young goalkeeper spent the season on loan at Bramall Lane from Manchester United.

Goalkeeper Dean Henderson wants to stay at Sheffield United following their promotion to the Premier League.

The 22-year-old impressed during a season-long loan spell at Bramall Lane from Manchester United and would happily leave Old Trafford to join the Blades permanently should it be an option.

He told Sheffield United's YouTube channel: "It made me really emotional to get this club back to where they belong.

"It's a massive football club and driving forward they deserve to be in the Premier League.

"For me personally I was really emotional and I've told the gaffer (Chris Wilder) 'listen, don't let me leave', but obviously it comes down to the two clubs to agree on money and stuff, so I'll be itching at the bit to come back here next season."
