Arsenal are reportedly facing increasing competition in the race to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Christopher Nkunku.
Sports Mole

RB Leipzig midfielder Christopher Nkunku has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Arsenal.

The Gunners had been keen on the 23-year-old before the player left Paris Saint-Germain for the Bundesliga outfit in July 2019.

However, the Frenchman has only improved since his switch to Leipzig, contributing 12 goals and 25 assists from 77 appearances in all competitions.

According to Fussball Transfers, Mikel Arteta remains interested in trying to secure the services of the playmaker later in 2021.

The report claims that Arsenal will face competition from a number of other clubs, including Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Nkunku still has over three years remaining on his contract.
