AC Milan are reportedly keen on signing Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot on a permanent deal.

The 21-year-old moved to San Siro on loan last October and has been a regular for the Italian giants during the 2020-21 campaign, contributing one goal and two assists in 17 appearances in all competitions.

According to The Sun, Milan have been impressed by the Portuguese's form this term and are keen to bring him to the club on a permanent basis this summer.

The report claims that the Serie A outfit would be prepared to pay £15m plus add-ons and contact has already been made with the 20-time English champions to discuss the possibility of a switch.

However, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano recently claimed that United are "convinced" that Dalot "will be a top full-back in the future" and are not interested in letting him leave on a permanent basis.

The right-back has made 35 appearances for the Red Devils since arriving from Porto in 2018.
