Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag is expected to select close to the same XI that took to the field for Wednesday's clash with Cadiz when the Red Devils take on Real Betis on Saturday.

Despite a number of players being absent due to the 2022 World Cup, Ten Hag could still select a familiar side against Cadiz, with the likes of Victor Lindelof, Scott McTominay, Anthony Elanga, Donny van de Beek, Alejandro Garnacho and Anthony Martial all in the XI.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams also featured from the start, with the duo recovering from their injury problems to make the squad.

David de Gea was not involved against Cadiz, with Martin Dubravka instead starting between the sticks, but the club's number one could come into the side here.

There are not expected to be many changes from the side that started on Wednesday, as Zidane Iqbal impressed in the opening half of action.

Wan-Bissaka found it difficult to impress last time out, though, which could lead to Marc Jurado being handed a start at right-back here.

Kobbie Mainoo scored off the bench against Cadiz, meanwhile, and the 17-year-old is expected to be involved in some capacity on Saturday.

Charlie Savage, Shola Shoretire and Charlie McNeill should also be among the youngsters to feature in the mid-season friendly.

Manchester United possible starting lineup: De Gea; Jurado, Lindelof, Mengi, Williams; Iqbal, McTominay; Elanga, Van de Beek, Garnacho; Martial body check tags ::
