Real Madrid add Massimiliano Allegri to managerial shortlist?

Real Madrid are allegedly interested in appointing former Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri as a replacement for Zinedine Zidane.

Real Madrid have allegedly identified Massimiliano Allegri as a potential replacement for Zinedine Zidane.

While Real currently sit in second position in the La Liga standings, their performances have led to frequent speculation regarding the future of Zidane.

A report has claimed that Jose Mourinho, out of work since his dismissal at Manchester United in December, has already been contacted about a second period at the Bernabeu.

However, a further suggestion from Spain is that Allegri is another who is on Real's radar as the Italian continues to contemplate his next job after leaving Juventus in the summer.

Man United are also said to hold an interest in Allegri, potentially leading to a scenario where the 52-year-old could accept the first offer which comes his way.
