Club legend Andy Cole has claimed that Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford should be scoring 20 goals every season.

Since coming through the academy setup, Rashford has scored a total of 48 goals from 179 appearances in all competitions.

While Cole feels that the England international's versatility is hindering his development, the ex-striker has insisted that the attacker should be showing more of a ruthless streak in the final third.

Cole told The Sun: "If you are going to play as a centre forward for Manchester United, you have got to be looking to get yourself 20 goals.

"His best return in a season so far is 13 and if that is your best return, and you are the main striker, you are going to have to get yourself a few more."

Rashford has netted just three times this season, with two of those strikes coming from the penalty spot.
