Manchester United captain Antonio Valencia has insisted that he continues to back the manager amid speculation that he may be sacked after his side's poor start to the 2017-18 season.
The Red Devils currently sit in 10th place in the Premier League table after a shock start that has seen them lose to Brighton & Hove Albion, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United after just seven games.
Their poor form carried on into the Champions League with Mourinho's side drawing 0-0 at home to Valencia, fueling speculation that the Portuguese has lost the dressing room.
When asked if he still supported his manager in a post-match press conference, the captain replied: "100%. He is our boss, we have to be with him and we are fighting.
"I have never had any problem with anyone, thank God. The decision (to strip Pogba of his captaincy) is for the coach to make, now we need to see the positives.
"We played an important game and got a point, now we have a game against Newcastle and we need to fight. What I can say from the inside is that the lads are calm, working every day with a good attitude. We haven't got good results and that's why rumours arise."
United will be looking to turn things around when they host Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday.
