Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Manchester United on Wednesday, January 13.

The January transfer window is now open, with Manchester United continuing to be linked with a host of big names.

The Red Devils have already agreed a deal to sign Amad Traore, and could look to bolster their ranks further to build on an encouraging first half of the season.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Old Trafford.

Wednesday morning's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup:

Manchester United 'battling Real Madrid, Barcelona for Yusuf Demir'

Manchester United have reportedly emerged as contenders to sign Rapid Vienna forward Yusuf Demir.

The 17-year-old has made 23 first-team appearances for the Austrian club, finding the net four times and laying on a further three assists.

Real Madrid are considered the favourites to land a player described as one of the next big stars, while Barcelona have also been linked in the past.

According to Defensa Central, however, Man United are also now in the running to sign the Austria Under-21s international.

Demir is said to be available for as little as €10m (£8.94m), with Rapid not against the idea of cashing in later this year.

Liverpool, Manchester United 'told to pay £100m for Kalidou Koulibaly'

Liverpool and Manchester United have reportedly been quoted £100m if they wish to sign Napoli's central defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

Manchester City had previously been linked with the Senegalese international before they opted to signed Ruben Dias from Benfica last summer.

This has given both Liverpool and Manchester United the chance to sign the highly-rated defender, with talkSPORT's Jim White stating that they will have to pay a nine-figure sum if they wish to recruit the 29-year-old.

"There isn't a window in the last two, three or four that we don't see big mentions of the Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly," White said.

"This morning, I spoke to Aurelio De Laurentiis, the Napoli owner, and said what about your player, are there bids in for him?

"He laughed it off saying he's not for sale. He's absolutely not for sale unless one of the big clubs in England come up with £100m."

Koulibaly, who has made over 260 appearances for Napoli, has also featured 18 times in all competitions this campaign.
