Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Manchester United on Sunday, January 24.

The January transfer window is now open, with Manchester United continuing to be linked with a host of big names.

The Red Devils have already agreed a deal to sign Amad Traore, and could look to bolster their ranks further to build on an encouraging first half of the season.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Old Trafford.

Sunday morning's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup:

Raphael Varane 'wants to leave Real Madrid'

Raphael Varane is reportedly interested in securing a transfer away from Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed a legendary career at the Bernabeu, making 335 appearances during his near decade-long period at Los Blancos.

However, according to Sport, the World Cup winner has little interest in penning a new contract with the La Liga champions.

The France international has just under 18 months remaining on his current deal, leaving Real in a position where they will have to consider offers for his signature.

The report suggests that Varane wants to take on a new challenge having already won 18 pieces of silverware at his current club.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are all likely to hold an interest in the centre-back.

Kalidou Koulibaly 'wants Manchester United move'

Manchester United have reportedly emerged as the frontrunners to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

The Senegal international has long been linked with a future move to the Premier League with several clubs said to be among his admirers.

However, his asking price, somewhere in the region of £80m and £100m, has frequently led to interested teams looking at other options.

According to Marca, the 29-year-old has decided that he would eventually like to sign for United when he is allowed to leave Naples.

The report adds that United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a fan of the centre-back, who has two-and-a-half years left on his contract.

Napoli are likely to be more open to selling their most prized asset if they fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.
