Marcus Rashford faces a battle to break back into the Manchester United starting side for Saturday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
The 26-year-old was named on the bench for Wednesday's league encounter with Chelsea due to his struggles in recent weeks, and he was only introduced for the final six minutes of his side's 2-1 success.
Rashford could again find himself among the substitutes for the fixture with Bournemouth on Saturday, with Antony, Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho potentially continuing as the front three.
There is a strong chance that the Englishman will be involved at some stage of the match, though, and with that in mind, Sports Mole looks at how he has fared against the Cherries in the past.
Rashford is actually the all-time leading goalscorer in matches between Man United and Bournemouth throughout history, having managed five goals.
The forward has faced the Cherries on nine occasions during his professional career, with all of the fixtures coming in the Premier League, scoring five goals and contributing one assist.
Rashford has helped Man United record seven wins from his nine appearances against Saturday's opponents, in addition to drawing once and suffering one defeat.
The Englishman scored on his first-ever clash with Bournemouth on the final matchday of the 2015-16 campaign, netting in a 3-1 success for Man United at Old Trafford.
Rashford also registered twice against the Cherries during the 2018-19 campaign, with arguably his best performance coming at Old Trafford that season, scoring and providing an assist in a 4-1 success.
The Man United academy product also netted in a 5-2 success for the Red Devils at Old Trafford in the second half of the 2019-20 campaign, in addition to registering once in a 3-0 victory for the 20-time English champions when Bournemouth visited Old Trafford last term.
Rashford was not involved in the last match between the two sides, though, which proved to be a 1-0 Man United win at the Vitaliy Stadium at the end of last season, due to a leg problem.
Ten Hag backed "incredible" Rashford during his press conference ahead of this match, and it would not be a surprise to see him get his name on the scoresheet this weekend, even if he has to start on the bench.
