Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's FA Cup semi-final with Brighton & Hove Albion.

At risk of two knockout eliminations within the space of four days, Manchester United travel to Wembley for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final with Brighton & Hove Albion.

The treble dream is no longer alive for the Red Devils, who suffered a humbling 5-2 aggregate defeat to Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-finals with a 3-0 loss in Spain on Thursday.

Not since the 2017-18 campaign have Man United progressed to the FA Cup final, and Erik ten Hag's men beat Fulham in a chaotic quarter-final to set up a tie with the soaring Seagulls.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Brighton, who broke Grimsby Town hearts in the last eight.

Phil Jones

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

With Man United potentially working with just one recognised centre-back at Wembley, Phil Jones had been tipped to make a sensational comeback for the semi-final. However, the Englishman is now revealed to have suffered a relapse of his serious knee injury in pre-season, and he has likely played his final game for the club as Ten Hag refuses to consider him for selection.

Anthony Martial

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: April 23 (vs. Brighton)

Anthony Martial, who had only just made his return from a hip problem, limped off after 54 minutes of Thursday's defeat to Sevilla. The severity of the Frenchman's issue is still unclear, but he has emerged as a major doubt for the semi-final.

Donny van de Beek

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Donny van de Beek remains on the long road to recovery from the season-ending knee problem that he suffered in January, but he would not have expected to line up from the off at Wembley anyway.

Alejandro Garnacho

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Teenage starlet Alejandro Garnacho is still some way away from recovering from an ankle injury, and Man United will reportedly block the Argentina youth international from representing his country at the upcoming Under-20s World Cup next month.

Tom Heaton

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Second-choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton was sidelined with an ankle problem during the international break, and while he should not be out for much longer, he will not be in the squad at Wembley.

Lisandro Martinez

Status: Out
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: Unknown

Lisandro Martinez was carried off the field by Argentina teammates Gonzalo Montiel and Marcos Acuna after fracturing a metatarsal in the first leg of Man United's Europa League quarter-final with Sevilla, and he is now confirmed to be missing the rest of the season.

Raphael Varane

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Raphael Varane was another casualty of that 2-2 draw at Old Trafford - exacerbating a previous ankle problem - and Man United will have to cope without the World Cup winner for a number of weeks.

Scott McTominay

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: April 23 (vs. Brighton)

Scott McTominay's knock has now kept him out of Man United's last three matches in all tournaments, and it remains to be seen if he will be given the green light for the semi-final.

MANCHESTER UNITED SUSPENSION LIST

Harry Maguire

Return date: April 27 (vs. Tottenham Hotspur)

Adding to Man United's defensive crisis, Harry Maguire picked up his second FA Cup yellow card of the season in the quarter-finals, and he will sit out the semi-final through suspension. On a more positive note, Bruno Fernandes is back after serving a Europa League ban.
