Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has revealed that he will decide on Thursday morning whether the likes of Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw will start against Sevilla at Estadio Ramon.

Rashford has missed Man United's last two matches with a muscular issue, while Shaw has been absent from the team's last three games due to a hamstring complaint.

However, the pair trained alongside their teammates on Wednesday morning and were included in the travelling squad to Spain, with the Red Devils preparing to take on Sevilla in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final on Thursday night.

Tyrell Malacia and Marcel Sabitzer have also overcome injuries to make the squad, with the former missing the 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday due to an issue, while the latter picked up an injury in the warm-up ahead of the Premier League game at the City Ground.

Ten Hag, speaking during his press conference on Wednesday evening, revealed that he would leave a decision on their involvement until the final moment.

"They are available because that's why they're on the airplane," Ten Hag told reporters. "I will take my decisions tomorrow, today we trained and we will see what the reaction is and then tomorrow we will take a decision.

"You always want to keep players fit, which is the main objective, besides of course the main objective: win the game."

Ten Hag was then asked directly about Rashford and revealed that the England international had some individual training sessions before being involved alongside his teammates on Wednesday.

"He had one session with the team, but he had some sessions before individually," said the Dutchman.

Sevilla midfielder Ivan Rakitic has warned Man United about the atmosphere that will await the 20-time English champions in Thursday's clash at Estadio Ramon.

Ten Hag has said that his players must learn to control their emotions if they are to pick up a positive result.

"You have to use motivation as a tool and control it. The timing of that is important. In big games especially, you have to know how to use it. We need to focus on the game and the play the best game we can," said the head coach when asked about the red-hot atmosphere inside the stadium.

Man United have not beaten Sevilla in their four previous meetings with the Spanish outfit, and they threw away a two-goal lead in the first leg last week, with late own goals from Malacia and Harry Maguire seeing the contest finish 2-2 in Manchester. body check tags ::
