Barcelona, Real Madrid target Tanguy Ndombele open to Lyon exit

Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele refuses to rule out leaving the club in the future amid speculation linking him with the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has refused to rule out the possibility of leaving the club in the future.

The 21-year-old only joined Lyon from Amiens last year, but his performances have attracted the attention of a number of Europe's biggest clubs.

The likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be tracking his progress, while Premier League duo Manchester City and Everton have also been credited with an interest.

Ndombele decided to stay at Lyon despite links with a move away during the summer and believes that he made the right decision, but he admitted that a future exit could be possible.

"I could have gone, maybe things would have worked out well. The club was firm, they didn't want me to leave. I didn't feel like leaving, and I think that today you can see that it was the best decision for me," he told Canal.

"Things are going well, I am playing a lot of games, and I am in the French national team. So, I think for the moment it was the best decision. I don't imagine how my career will go, I live it instead.

"When I was young I didn't dream of being in this or that club, whether it is Real Madrid, Barcelona, City, I have never dreamed of being in a specific club like that. Of course they are big clubs, I don't close the door to anyone. [PSG] remain one of the biggest clubs in France. I am from a Paris banlieue (suburb)."

Ndombele has scored two goals in 21 appearances for the club this season, while also making his international debut for France.
