Report: Manchester City to sign Jose Cifuentes

:Headline: Report: Manchester City to sign Jose Cifuentes:
Manchester City are reportedly close to securing their third summer signing - Ecuadorian midfielder Jose Cifuentes.

Manchester City are set to complete the signing of Jose Cifuentes from America de Quito, according to a report.

The 20-year-old midfielder caught the eye at the Under-20 World Cup with Ecuador, drawing the attention of the Premier League champions as well as Scottish giants Celtic.

However, Ecuadorian outlet Radio Caravana reports that everything is already agreed for Cifuentes to join Man City this summer.

The Ecuadorian midfielder will immediately join an unnamed Croatian team on loan in order to gain more first-team experience before attempting to break into Pep Guardiola's side.

Cifuentes would be City's third summer signing, following on from the arrivals of Rodri and Angelino.
