Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling.

Sterling finished as City's second top scorer last season, netting 23 times in all competitions as his side won the Premier League title and the EFL Cup.

The 23-year-old was linked with a move to Los Blancos before joining City in a £44m deal from Liverpool in 2015.

According to Sky Sports News, Madrid are interested in signing the Englishman and will send club representatives to watch him play for England against Spain on September 8.

Sterling has made 98 appearances for the league champions, scoring 32 goals.
