Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is reportedly frustrated by the way he is being treated by boss Pep Guardiola.

The club's all-time leading goalscorer has struggled for playing time over the past year, not helped by injuries and illness, with his last Premier League goal coming in January 2020.

Since recovering from COVID-19 nearly two months ago, the Argentina international has started just once and appeared a further two times from the bench.

Aguero is out of contract at the end of the season and, according to the Daily Mail, he now looks likely to end his decade-long association with City.

The report claims that Aguero is particularly annoyed by the lack of clarity over his future, with Guardiola not willing to discuss a new deal while the 2020-21 campaign is still ongoing.

Barcelona are rumoured to be among the clubs ready to pounce for the 32-year-old should be be available on a free transfer in the summer. body check tags ::
