West Ham United have reportedly added Bayern Munich centre-back Tanguy Nianzou to their summer defensive shortlist.

The Hammers have lost new signing Nayef Aguerd to a serious ankle injury, while Issa Diop has now left the club to join London rivals Fulham on a permanent deal.

As a result, David Moyes is on the hunt for defensive reinforcements, and according to 90Min, Bayern's Nianzou has now emerged as a realistic target.

The 20-year-old's path into the first XI is currently blocked by the likes of Matthijs de Ligt, Dayot Upamecano, Lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard, although the latter has been linked with a move away from the club.

Nianzou's contract at the Allianz Arena runs until the summer of 2024, and he has made 28 appearances for the Bavarians since leaving Paris Saint-Germain in 2020.

Keeping with the London Stadium theme, attacker Said Benrahma's future is being called into question, only one year after his arrival from Brentford on a five-year deal.

The 27-year-old hit eight goals and six assists in 32 Premier League appearances last season but was named on the bench for Sunday's opening Premier League defeat to Manchester City.

Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals and Manuel Lanzini were preferred in the final third, and according to the Daily Mail, Moyes is willing to part ways with Benrahma.

The Algeria international could also be pushed further down the pecking order by Maxwel Cornet after his £17.5m arrival from Burnley, and the Hammers are supposedly after the full £30m they forked out to sign Benrahma in 2021.

Benrahma has totalled 12 goals and 13 assists in 81 outings for West Ham since initially arriving on loan from Brentford in 2020.

From one claret to another, Burnley boss Vincent Kompany is now aiming to reinforce his own attacking line after the inevitable departure of Cornet.

Twenty-year-old Isaak Davies of Cardiff City is supposedly on the radar of the Championship outfit after rising through the Bluebirds' youth ranks to register two goals and two assists in 28 Championship appearances last term.

According to The Sun, Burnley approached Cardiff with a £2.5m offer for the Wales Under-21 international, but their Championship rivals swiftly rejected the approach.

Cardiff are supposedly willing to do business for a higher fee, but Southampton and Brentford are preparing to rival the Clarets for Davies's signature.

The striker joined Cardiff's academy back in 2008 and remains under contract with the Bluebirds until the summer of 2025 after signing an extension back in March.

Over at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City starlet Kayky is set for a loan spell away from the club after joining Pep Guardiola's ranks from Fluminense in 2021.

The 19-year-old attacker banked six goals and four assists in 13 Premier League 2 games for the Citizens' Under-21s last term and also appeared twice in first-team competition.

Kayky will now seemingly continue his development out on loan, and journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Pacos de Ferreira will win the race for his services.

Romano adds that the move should be confirmed by the Premier League champions later on Thursday, and he has already completed his medical with the Portuguese top-flight side.

Kayky made his Premier League debut as a substitute against Norwich City in February and also featured in the dying embers of his side's FA Cup third-round win over Swindon Town.
