Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will reportedly consider his future during the break for the winter World Cup.

The Spaniard's contract at the Etihad expires this summer, and sources inside the club view the upcoming month as a crucial period in which he will make a decision to extend or not.

The Daily Mail reports that the 51-year-old will meet with City chiefs in Abu Dhabi to inform them of his plans for the future.

The Catalan has won four Premier League titles, four EFL Cups, two Community Shields and an FA Cup in his six years in Manchester.

The Citizens currently find themselves five points behind Arsenal after a 2-1 loss to Brentford at the weekend, however they did finish 17 points ahead of Liverpool in the 2020-21 season after trailing them by five at this stage.

The one trophy he is yet to win in his spell at City is the Champions League; the club came agonisingly close to a maiden win in the 2020-21 season but were denied by Chelsea. body check tags ::
