Manchester City will be looking to make it 21 straight wins in all competitions when they welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Citizens recorded a 2-1 victory over West Ham United on Saturday to stretch their lead at the top of the Premier League table, which now stands at 12 points, with second-placed Manchester United and third-placed Leicester City both dropping points on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola's side will now be looking to secure a 15th straight league success ahead of the Manchester derby on March 7.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Man City could line up against Wolves, who will enter the contest off the back of a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United on Saturday night.

Out: Nathan Ake (muscle)

Man City will again be without the services of Nathan Ake due to a muscular issue, but the league leaders did not pick up any fresh concerns against West Ham on Saturday.

Guardiola is expected to shuffle his pack on Tuesday, with Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva, Joao Cancelo, Rodri and Phil Foden all in line to return to the starting XI.

Kyle Walker could make way at the back to allow for Cancelo's return, while Fernandinho, Ferran Torres, Sergio Aguero and Riyad Mahrez could also drop out of the starting team for the clash with Wolves.

Gabriel Jesus is pushing for a spot in the middle of the attack, but the Brazilian might have to accept a position on the bench once again, with Sterling potentially operating as a false nine.

Guardiola is expected to resist the temptation to rest Kevin De Bruyne ahead of the clash with Man United, though, while Ilkay Gundogan, Ruben Dias, John Stones and Oleksandr Zinchenko should also keep their spots.
