Xherdan Shaqiri is reportedly hopeful of being granted a move away from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

The Switzerland international has fallen way down the midfield pecking order, being restricted to just seven starts in all competitions this term.

Despite reported interest from numerous clubs in the January window, Shaqiri remained at Anfield for the second half of the season.

According to Football Insider, however, the 29-year-old has told his agent to find him a new home for the 2021-22 campaign.

It is claimed that Serie A is the most likely next destination for Shaqiri, with Roma and Lazio interested, while a move to La Liga side Sevilla is another possibility.
