Liverpool interested in Ousseynou Ba?

:Headline: Liverpool interested in Ousseynou Ba?:
Liverpool allegedly hold an interest in securing a deal for Olympiacos defender Ousseynou Ba.

Olympiacos defender Ousseynou Ba has allegedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Liverpool.

While the centre-back has only made 14 appearances in Greece's top flight this season, the 24-year-old has starred in the Europa League since the turn of the year.

Having helped Olympiacos overcome Arsenal at the last-32 stage, the Senegalese was part of the starting lineup for the first leg of the last-16 encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to Le Quotidien, being part of a backline which conceded just three goals in those fixtures has led to interest from Liverpool.

With Dejan Lovren a potential departure during the next window, Jurgen Klopp is considering possible replacements for the Croatia international.

Ba still has over three years remaining on his contract at Olympiacos. body check tags ::
