Liverpool are reportedly interested in four Bundesliga stars ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Reds are expected to make several changes to their squad this summer despite sitting top of the Premier League table.
Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah are all at risk of leaving on free transfers, with the trio out of contract at the end of the season.
There is also a possibility that several other players could leave the club, including Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz, who have both been linked with moves away from Anfield.
Diogo Jota is another player who could depart in the summer transfer window, with Liverpool said to be open to offers for the Portuguese attacker.
Liverpool keen on four Bundesliga players
With departures expected, Liverpool are scouring the market for potential candidates to reinforce Arne Slot's squad ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
The Reds appear to be focusing part of their search on the German top flight, with Bild reporting that Liverpool are keeping tabs on four Bundesliga talents ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
The report claims that Borussia Dortmund's Nico Schlotterbeck and Wolfsburg's Konstantinos Koulierakis are on Liverpool's radar of defensive targets.
The Merseyside club could step up their interest in the central defensive duo if it becomes clear that Van Dijk will leave in the summer.
Schlotterbeck has made 36 competitive appearances this season, including 12 Champions League games, while Koulierakis has started 22 of Wolfsburg's 26 Bundesliga matches this term.
Frimpong, Knauff on Liverpool's radar
Liverpool are also believed to be admirers of Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong, who is said to have a €40m (£33.7m) release clause in his contract.
The Reds could look to move for the Netherlands international if Alexander-Arnold departs in the summer amid interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, in the final third, Liverpool are considering Eintracht Frankfurt's Ansgar Knauff as a potential option to replace Salah if he departs this summer.
Knauff has a contract until the summer of 2028, but Frankfurt could allow him to depart if they receive an offer in the region of €25m (£21m). body check tags ::
