Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp: 'No rush to decide plan for goalkeeper Danny Ward'

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says that he is in "no rush" to make a decision on the future of goalkeeper Danny Ward.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has suggested that he is currently considering offers for goalkeeper Danny Ward.

After helping Huddersfield Town to promotion last season, Ward had been expected to gain further experience elsewhere, but the Welsh international has been kept as third-choice stopper at Anfield.

Klopp has acknowledged that clubs are interested in signing the 24-year-old, but the German is in no rush to part ways with the player.

The 50-year-old told reporters: "The plan for Wardy is when I speak to him, not to the press.

"We had requests from other clubs for loans. It's like the season has already finished in January with clubs getting all the players.

"No rush. We cannot help other clubs before thinking of ourselves."

Ward - who will start on the bench for the FA Cup tie with Everton on Friday night - has only made one appearance for Liverpool all season, which came in the 2-0 defeat to Leicester City in the EFL Cup.
