Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted that his side cannot be compared to the Harlem Globetrotters amid his attacking dilemma.

The Reds bolstered their ranks in the final third with the acquisition of Luis Diaz in January to join Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota, Divock Origi, Takumi Minamino, Kaide Gordon and Harvey Elliott in the final third.

Liverpool have amassed a staggering 98 goals across all competitions this season, but Klopp did not take kindly to questions about his squad's attacking depth ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Norwich City following Jota's recent ankle injury.

"We are not the Harlem Globetrotters. There are a lot of good teams and squads we have to battle with," Klopp told reporters, as quoted by The Athletic's James Pearce.

"We need each and every one of these players. Top squad, best I've ever had, but stop asking me about the squad. I've already answered questions about the squad 5 million times. We talk about it for 2 weeks and now Diogo is out."

Klopp has confirmed that Jota will not be available for the visit of Norwich on Saturday, and the extent of the 25-year-old's ankle ligament problem remains unclear ahead of next weekend's EFL Cup final with Chelsea. body check tags ::
