Divock Origi was once again Liverpool's last-minute hero on Saturday evening, as he came off the bench to score the game's only goal in the 94th minute against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

While he has been little more than a bit-part player this term, the Belgian striker swivelled and fired home from Mohamed Salah's cut-back to send the travelling fans into delirium, as he has done so often during his Anfield days.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp joked that he would "write a book" about Origi following his latest crucial goal, one which sent Liverpool second in the Premier League table.

West Bromwich Albion - December 2015 - 96th minute equaliser

Liverpool's 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion back in December 2015 has become famed for the Reds' post-match celebration towards the fans - now a subject of ridicule - but Origi was the reason that the home crowd had a point to cheer in the first place.

The Belgian began the game on the bench as Jordan Henderson broke the deadlock, but Craig Dawson and Jonas Olsson turned the game on its head for the Baggies.

Seemingly destined to be consigned to a 2-1 defeat on the day, Origi came off the bench in the 79th minute to replace the injured Dejan Lovren and took on a speculative effort from long range, which ended up soaring past Boaz Myhill into the far corner.

Everton - December 2018 - 96th minute winner

Will there ever be a more iconic goal in Origi's Liverpool career than a last-gasp winner in the Merseyside derby? Another substitute outing awaited the former Genk man in December 2018, who replaced Roberto Firmino in the 84th minute with the game goalless.

The Belgian firstly missed a sitter from barely a yard out, but as Virgil van Dijk's scuffed effort soared into the air and led Jordan Pickford to make a catastrophic error, Origi took advantage.

The heroic Reds man headed home from an area that was impossible to miss as everyone in red celebrated like they had never celebrated before, with Klopp and Alisson's embrace a lasting image of that memorable winner.

Newcastle United - May 2019 - 86th-minute winner

Still struggling for starts in the Liverpool team, Origi watched on as Daniel Sturridge was handed a start alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane against Newcastle, with the former bagging one of the goals at St James' Park.

However, with the Egyptian and Virgil van Dijk's goals being cancelled out by Christian Atsu and Salomon Rondon, Klopp called upon the super sub in the 73rd minute, and it once again paid dividends.

Once again using his head to great effect, Origi met Xherdan Shaqiri's corner with four minutes remaining and rose highest to score a deft header past a hapless Martin Dubravka.

Barcelona - May 2019 - Corner taken quickly

Seemingly down and out after a dampening 3-0 loss at Camp Nou, Liverpool needed nothing short of a miracle to book their place in the 2018-19 Champions League final, and Origi was at the heart of an astounding comeback.

Trusted from the off, Origi took all of seven minutes to tap in his side's first before Georginio Wijnaldum's brace brought the tie level, but not a single soul could have foreseen the events of the 79th minute.

Three days after his winning header at Newcastle, Origi and Trent Alexander-Arnold caught Barcelona napping - in the words of Darren Fletcher - as the forward met the defender's quick corner to fire home and send Liverpool to Madrid.

Tottenham Hotspur - June 2019 - 87th-minute clincher

Origi's monumental efforts against Barcelona did not earn him a place in the first XI for the Madrid final, as Roberto Firmino was elected to lead the line against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Reds held a 1-0 lead throughout the contest thanks to Salah's early spot kick, but when Klopp needed an insurance goal to secure the continental crown, he knew just who to call upon.

Brought on just before the hour mark for Firmino, Origi latched onto Joel Matip's pass following a corner before taking a touch and firing home into the far corner in the 87th minute, ensuring that he would be travelling home with a Champions League winners' medal around his neck.

Arsenal - October 2019 - 94th-minute equaliser

No fewer than 10 goals were scored between Arsenal and Liverpool's second-string teams during the fourth round of the 2019-20 EFL Cup, with Origi at the heart of a storming comeback after the Reds found themselves 4-2 down in the second half.

The striker firstly levelled the scores just after the hour mark before Joe Willock's long-range screamer put Arsenal back into the ascendancy, but Unai Emery's side were powerless to stop the brilliant Belgian.

With 94 minutes on the clock, Origi met Neco Williams's cross and found the net with an acrobatic effort - although Emiliano Martinez would have felt frustrated not to save it - and he was equally clinical from the spot as the Reds won the day on penalties.

Wolves - December 2021 - 94th-minute winner

Struggling for opportunities in the Premier League and Champions League and being persistently linked with an exit, the 2021-22 season had not gone at all to plan for Origi before the trip to Molineux.

The 26-year-old watched on from the bench as Diogo Jota somehow hit Conor Coady despite having the whole of the goal to aim at, and he took it upon himself to propel Liverpool to a crucial win.

Latching onto Salah's pass, Origi turned before firing home past the previously impenetrable Jose Sa, further affirming his status as a cult hero on the red half of Merseyside.
