Liverpool welcome Naby Keita, Divock Origi and Ben Davies back to training ahead of Tuesday's Champions League last-16 first leg with RB Leipzig.

Liverpool have welcomed Naby Keita, Divock Origi and Ben Davies back to training ahead of Tuesday's Champions League last-16 first leg with RB Leipzig.

Keita has been struggling with a muscular problem ever since December's draw with West Bromwich Albion, while Origi and Davies were both ruled out of the trip to Leicester City at the weekend.

Jurgen Klopp's infirmary has been well-occupied for most of the season, but the trio have since been pictured being put through their paces on the training pitches ahead of Tuesday's game.

However, Klopp conceded that Keita is not match ready after overcoming his injury, so he will not play against his former club this week, while Fabinho, Diogo Jota and James Milner are all expected to miss out as well.

The 2018-19 Champions League winners are set to take on Leipzig in Budapest due to coronavirus travel restrictions between the UK and Germany, and Liverpool head into the first leg after topping Group D with 13 points from a possible 18.

Klopp affirmed at his pre-match press conference that he does not need a break amid speculation surrounding his future, while captain Jordan Henderson laughed off reports of a dressing room bust-up.
