Tom Cairney impressed by Fulham signing Jean Michael Seri

Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney says that new signing Jean Michael Seri has already made an impression in training.

Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney has acknowledged that he expects Jean Michael Seri to become a key player for the club.

Earlier this month, Fulham completed the surprise signing of the Nice midfielder, with reports claiming that a number of top European clubs had been edged out.

Seri has already started training with the newly-promoted Premier League club, and Cairney suggests that the addition could be the difference between staying up and relegation.

The 27-year-old is quoted by football.london as saying: "Yeah outstanding, very exciting, even in a couple of days training you can see what he brings to the table.

"He's full of energy and he can play, he can win the ball back. I think he's all action and exactly what we need in the Premier League."

Fulham begin the new campaign with a home fixture against Crystal Palace.
