Everton have reportedly switched their attention to PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn after being rebuffed in their pursuit of Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha.

The Toffees have seen three offers rejected for Zaha as Palace hold out for a bid of up to £100m for the wantaway attacker.

Zaha has handed in a transfer request at Selhurst Park in attempt to force a move away, but Palace's refusal to sell has prompted Everton to consider other options in their search for a new winger.

The Daily Mail reports that PSV's Bergwijn has been identified as a possible target following a 2018-19 campaign which saw him score 14 goals and create 12 more in 33 league appearances.

The 21-year-old has previously been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich during the current transfer window.

Everton are also thought to hold a continued interest in Alex Iwobi despite seeing a £30m bid rejected by Arsenal.
