Everton 'keen on Emil Forsberg'

Everton are reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg.

Everton are reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg.

The Swedish international, who played in the World Cup quarter final defeat to England on Saturday, has previously hinted at an exit from club side RB Leipzig.

According to The Mirror, Forsberg is high on Toffees boss Marco Silva's list of potential targets, and the club could be prepared to chase a deal for the £30m-rated player.

The newspaper adds, however, that Leipzig will be reluctant to sell after tying the midfielder down to a fresh five-year deal last season.

Forsberg's only goal at the World Cup was the winning strike in the last 16 victory over Switzerland.
