A number of Premier League clubs are reportedly keeping tabs on Crawley Town striker Max Watters.

The 21-year-old has made a prolific start to life with the League Two outfit since arriving from Doncaster Rovers, with Watters boasting 12 goals in 14 appearances across all competitions this term.

Watters sits third in the League Two scoring charts behind Leyton Orient's Danny Johnson and Cambridge United's Paul Mullin, and the Crawley man has reportedly caught the eye with his goal-laden performances.

According to the Daily Mail, West Bromwich Albion are one of the clubs in the top flight to have sent scouts to watch Watters in action, while Championship outfit Watford are also interested.

However, it could supposedly take a bid of up to £1m to prise Watters away from Crawley, with the striker under contract at the Broadfield Stadium until 2021 with the option of a further year.

Clubs in League One and Belgium are also believed to be keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old's development. body check tags ::
