Defender Antonio Rudiger reportedly remains unhappy with the terms that Chelsea are offering him to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Antonio Rudiger has reportedly been left frustrated with Chelsea's latest offer of a new contract.

Despite being a key figure under head coach Thomas Tuchel, the Germany international has just seven-and-a-half months remaining on his existing terms at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are making a sustained effort to retain the services of the 28-year-old, who has starred on the left-hand side of a three-man backline.

However, according to Bild, Rudiger is no closer to penning a new deal, the player allegedly wanting £60,000 per week more than he is being offered.

The report suggests that Rudiger is expecting to receive a package worth £10m per year, which works out at approximately £190,000 per week.

Chelsea's latest attempt is said to be regarded as 'a slap in the face' by Rudiger, who would allegedly prefer to stay with the European champions. body check tags ::
