Chelsea 'in talks to sign Ben Chilwell from Leicester City'

:Headline: Chelsea 'in talks to sign Ben Chilwell from Leicester City':
Chelsea are in talks with Leicester City over a summer deal for English left-back Ben Chilwell, according to a report.

Chelsea are reportedly in negotiations with Leicester City over a potential deal for Ben Chilwell.

The Blues are expected to bring a new left-back to the club during this summer's transfer window with neither Marcos Alonso nor Emerson Palmieri enjoying productive campaigns.

A recent report claimed that Atalanta BC's Robin Gosens was being considered as a cheaper alternative to Chilwell, but according to Todofichajes, the Blues are currently in talks to sign the Leicester defender.

Chilwell, who has developed into England's first-choice left-back, has contributed two goals and four assists in 28 appearances for Brendan Rodgers's side this season.

The 23-year-old still has more than four years left to run on his contract at the King Power Stadium but has allegedly informed his agent that he wants to join Frank Lampard's side this summer.

The Englishman has made 118 appearances for the Foxes since debuting in October 2015. body check tags ::
