Chelsea handed boost in effort to sign Porto defender Alex Telles?

:Headline: Chelsea handed boost in effort to sign Porto defender Alex Telles?:
Alex Telles reportedly rejects the opportunity to extend his contract at Porto, a development which could interest Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window.

Chelsea have allegedly been handed a boost in their efforts to sign Porto defender Alex Telles.

Having scored 18 times from 150 appearances for the Portuguese giants, the left-back is attracting interest from bigger clubs.

With Chelsea potentially parting ways with Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri during the summer, the 27-year-old is said to be on Frank Lampard's radar.

According to The Express, a summer move has edged closer with Telles having rejected the opportunity to pen fresh terms at his current club.

The Brazil international has less than 18 months remaining on his contract, putting Porto in a position where they would have to consider cashing in on one of their most prized assets.

Telles has past experience of featuring in one of European football's premier leagues, making 21 outings in Serie A for Inter Milan during the 2015-16 campaign. body check tags ::
