Frank Lampard may reportedly clash with the Chelsea board over the future of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

After failing to impress this season, Arrizabalaga was replaced by Willy Caballero for Saturday's Premier League fixture at Leicester City.

Since his omission, it has been claimed that the Spaniard, who holds a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge, is prepared to fight for his place.

However, according to The Mirror, two of the main figures at the West London club do not see eye-to-eye over finding a resolution to the team's problems between the sticks.

While Lampard is said to want to cash in on Arrizabalaga, director Marina Granovskaia wants more faith to be shown in a stopper who cost the club £71.6m in 2018.

The 25-year-old has made a total of 85 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea.
