Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko is reportedly considering his future at AC Milan after suffering racial abuse in Italy.

Bakayoko is on a season-long loan with Milan, who were understood to be keen on making the deal permanent for a fee of around £30m.

However, the Frenchman was subjected to alleged racist abuse by Lazio fans during last week's Coppa Italia semi-final at San Siro.

The away fans were reported to chant 'this banana is for Bakayoko' throughout the match, having unfurled a banner in honour of fascist dictator Benito Mussolini prior to kickoff.

Lazio have since condemned the abuse, but Italian publication La Repubblica reports that Bakayoko has been so hurt by the incident that he is considering his future in the country.

Bakayoko had been keen to join Milan on a permanent basis having turned his fortunes around after a slow start at the club.
