Tammy Abraham will reportedly complete his season-long loan move to Swansea City in the coming days, but only after first signing a new deal with parent club Chelsea.

The Blues are said to be keen to tie down the young striker, who made a big impression during a stint in the Championship with Bristol City last season.

Abraham netted 25 times in the second tier and was used as a focal point for England Under-21s in their Euro 2017 campaign in Poland, which ended in relative disappointment as they lost on penalties to Germany at the semi-final stage.

Newcastle United, Celtic and Brighton & Hove Albion have all contacted Chelsea with regards to taking the 19-year-old on loan, but The Telegraph claims that a move to Swansea is close to being finalised.

Prior to starting his spell in South Wales, Abraham will put pen to paper on a new contract worth £50,000 a week, with Chelsea said to be prepared to offer him a first-team chance upon his return.
