Report: Antonio Conte unhappy with Chelsea board over lack of attacking options

Antonio Conte is angry with Chelsea's board after Alvaro Morata's hamstring injury highlighted the Italian's lack of attacking options, according to a report.

Antonio Conte has been left angry with Chelsea's board due to the lack of attacking options in the team, according to reports.

New star striker Alvaro Morata suffered a hamstring injury in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester City last Saturday and may not be fit for the Blues' trip to Crystal Palace on October 14 following the international break.

According to The Times, Conte is unhappy that Chelsea's hierarchy were unable to sign a back-up option to the Spain forward in the summer.

In addition, the Italian reportedly believes that the club "bungled" the deal to sign Fernando Llorente, while Tammy Abraham's loan move to the Swans is also thought to be a point of contention.

Chelsea currently sit six points adrift of leaders Man City in the Premier League table.
