Brentford boss Thomas Frank has provided the latest on Sepp van den Berg and Michael Kayode ahead of Saturday's Premier League battle with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
The two defenders were both absent from last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa, although Frank stressed that Kayode's problem was only minor and could settle down in time for the trip south.
However, the Bees manager said in Thursday's press conference that the Fiorentina loanee was "unlikely" to be fit, although Van den Berg has trained and is on track to be available.
Nevertheless, Kristoffer Ajer should prepare for another start at right-back, while Nathan Collins, Ethan Pinnock and Keane Lewis-Potter will certainly protect Mark Flekken once again.
The established midfield pairing of Christian Norgaard and Vitaly Janelt should not be broken up either, nor should the offensive quartet of Yoane Wissa, Bryan Mbeumo, Kevin Schade and Mikkel Damsgaard.
Should Wissa register two goal contributions on Saturday, he will move onto 50 direct involvements in the Premier League, having already amassed 39 goals and nine assists in the tournament so far.
Fabio Carvalho (shoulder), Gustavo Nunes (back), Josh Dasilva (knee), Aaron Hickey (fitness), Rico Henry (thigh) and Igor Thiago (knee) make up a sextet of guaranteed absentees for Frank's side this weekend.
Brentford possible starting lineup:
Flekken; Ajer, Collins, Pinnock, Lewis-Potter; Janelt, Norgaard; Mbeumo, Damsgaard, Schade; Wissa
