Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn says that Barcelona-linked Robert Lewandowski will "definitely" spend at least one more season at the club.

Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn has insisted that Robert Lewandowski will "definitely" spend at least one more season at Allianz Arena.

The Poland international's current deal with the German champions is due to expire next June, and Barcelona are currently being strongly linked with the centre-forward.

Lewandowski will allegedly push for a move to the Catalan outfit if he does not sign a new contract in the coming weeks, but Kahn has ruled out a summer exit for the 33-year-old.

The striker has scored 47 goals and registered four assists in 41 appearances for Bayern during the 2021-22 campaign, including 32 goals in 29 Bundesliga outings.

"We definitely have Robert with us for another season," Kahn told Amazon Prime. "We know what we have in him and we're relaxed about it. Apparently there's a competition out there: 'Who will tell the biggest nonsense story about Robert Lewandowski?'

"Talks will continue. We're not crazy and are [not] discussing the transfer of a player who scores between 30 and 40 goals with us every season."

Lewandowski has scored 341 goals and registered 69 assists in 370 appearances for Bayern since moving to Allianz Arena from Dortmund in July 2014. body check tags ::
