Arsenal boss Unai Emery will reportedly look to offload big-name players this summer to improve his transfer budget.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery will reportedly look to offload a number of big-name players this summer as the Spaniard prepares to rebuild the squad at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners missed the chance to secure a spot in the 2019-20 Champions League as they suffered a 4-1 defeat to Chelsea in the Europa League final on Wednesday night.

As a result, it is thought that the London club only have a budget of around £40m this summer.

According to The Mirror, Emery will look to 'completely shake up the squad' ahead of the 2019-20 season, which could mean that the likes of Mesut Ozil, Shkodran Mustafi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are made available for transfer.

The same report has claimed that the club still want to sign Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser, a central midfielder and a centre-back but will have to do so on a strict budget unless funds are generated by player sales.

Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in Borussia Dortmund attacker Mario Gotze.
