Bournemouth have reportedly had a £15m bid rejected for Bristol City midfielder Alex Scott.

The 19-year-old has caught the attention of a number of clubs after impressing during his 42 appearances for the Robins last term.

Alongside Bournemouth, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers have both been linked with Scott, while there has also been interest from Inter Milan.

According to Sky Sports News, the Cherries have stepped up their pursuit with a £15m bid plus add-ons, which was subsequently turned down by Bristol City.

With two years left to run on Scott's Bristol City contract, the Championship side are holding out for at least £25m.

Despite failing with their initial offer, Bournemouth are believed to leading the race to secure the player's signature.

As for fellow Premier League club Nottingham Forest, they have reportedly tabled an offer for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangare.

With the East Midlands club looking to bolster their midfield options, Sangare has emerged as one of their top targets.

They have held an interest in the 25-year-old for over a year, but they decided against making a move last summer due to the player's asking price.

According to The Athletic, Forest have reignited their interest in the Ivory Coast international by submitting a formal offer to PSV.

Sangare signed a new long-term contract last summer until June 2027, leaving PSV in a strong position when it comes to discussing a transfer fee.

The Dutch club are hoping to receive a £30m (€35m) fee for Sangare, who has previously been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

Over in Spain, Real Betis are reportedly set to rival Barcelona for the services of Tottenham Hotspur's Giovani Lo Celso.

The Argentine has returned to Spurs after spending the last 18 months on loan at Villarreal where he made 51 appearances across all competitions.

A recent report claimed that La Liga champions Barcelona were considering a loan move for the midfielder.

However, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Betis have entered the race for Lo Celso and are set to work on a potential deal over the next few weeks.

The 27-year-old previously played for Betis during the 2018-19 campaign, registering 16 goals and six assists in 45 competitive games.

Aston Villa and Napoli have also been credited with an interest in Lo Celso, who has two years remaining on his Spurs deal.

Back in England, three Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in signing Southampton striker Che Adams.

The forward scored 10 goals and provided three assists in 35 competitive appearances last term, but he was unable to prevent the Saints from being relegated to the Championship.

Adams has entered the final 12 months of his deal, and the Saints are expected to cash in on the striker this summer.

According to The Sun, Burnley, Everton and Nottingham Forest are in the race to secure the 27-year-old's signature.

With the Saints prepared to sanction a sale, the report claims that they are expected to demand a fee in the region of £15m.

The Scotland international has scored 31 goals in 145 games for Southampton since arriving from Birmingham City in the summer of 2019. body check tags ::
