Brendan Rodgers: 'Celtic have received no offers for Moussa Dembele'

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers says that the club have received no offers for forward Moussa Dembele, despite speculation linking him with Marseille.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has suggested that there are no signs of Moussa Dembele being sold ahead of the new season.

After netting 32 goals in his first year in Glasgow, Dembele is attracting interest from all over Europe and it has been claimed that Marseille are keen on signing the French prospect.

However, while Rodgers has hinted that there will be an amicable solution over the player's future, he does not expect the 21-year-old to leave the club at any point soon.

"There's nothing in it from our perspective. He's a boy that's very calm. And like I said, a young player still developing," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying.

"I think there'll be a natural solution to it all. I think there'll be something at some point in his career here where there's an offer that, for both parties, is a sensible one, but it's certainly nowhere near that for us at this moment in time."

Chelsea, Everton, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund have all been linked with the player since the end of the most recent campaign.
