Manchester City, Arsenal 'eye Fulham teenager'

Manchester City and Arsenal will go head-to-head for the signature of Fulham teenager Matt O'Riley, according to a report.

Manchester City and Arsenal are reportedly preparing to battle over the signature of Fulham teenager Matt O'Riley.

The 16-year-old has already started twice for Fulham in the EFL Cup this season, while he has also featured in the Checkatrade Trophy after breaking into the first-team set-up at the Championship club.

O'Riley, who is capable of operating in a number of midfield positions, is also being tipped to represent England in the Under-17 World Cup in India next month.

According to The Mirror, Fulham are desperate to keep hold of the hot prospect, but Man City and Arsenal have both been alerted to his potential, with the Premier League duo preparing to go head-to-head for the teenager's services.

It is understood that a number of foreign clubs are also closely monitoring developments.
