Unai Emery 'wants Steven N'Zonzi at Arsenal'

Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants to sign Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi this summer, according to a report.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery reportedly wants to sign Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi this summer.

Emery was in charge of Sevilla when the La Liga outfit brought N'Zonzi to the club in the summer of 2015.

The 29-year-old has gone from strength to strength at the Estadio Ramon, and according to Estadio Deportivo, Arsenal are considering activating the Frenchman's £35m release clause.

N'Zonzi, who has been included in the France squad for the 2018 World Cup, has experience of playing in the Premier League having turned out for both Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City in the top flight of English football.

The midfielder scored once and provided two assists in 44 appearances for Sevilla last season.
